Photoshoot at Rutland Hall Hotel

We had the pleasure of being part of a wonderful photoshoot at Rutland Hall Hotel a few weeks ago. On probably the hottest day in September we descended on Rutland Hall Hotel. A stunning Mansion on the edge of Rutland water. The Hall was built in 1890 for the 6th Earl Fitzwilliam as a family hunting lodge. Formerly Barnsdale Hall, it fell into disrepair and passed through a variety of owners. The Patel family  bought Barnsdale Hall in 2020 and set to work immediately to transform it into a destination hotel.

With a selection of our favourite dresses we met up with photographer James and models Drew and Millie. Carrie from The Real Wedding Collective was able to do hair and model Millie is also a makeup artist so did her own make up. It was probably one of the most relaxed photoshoots we’ve done. We had a bit of a plan and we all gave our own input of ideas we had. Millie and Drew were absolutely wonderful to work with taking direction perfectly which made the whole process so easy. considering the heat, everyone managed really well. We did a few shots in the bridal suite which was amazing and then we moved outside to make the most of the glorious weather.

After several hours and a short break for lunch, we had all the shots we wanted.

To be part of a shoot with such professionals really makes us proud. We had such a great day and we’ll share more photos of our fabulous shoot on our Instagram page @therealweddingcollective
